The Art collector is an antique and antique look reproduction company. If you are looking for exquisite pieces of furniture in New Zealand, visit our shoroom in Newmarket. We have a large range of furntire items for the more sophisticated buyer. Our showroom has original antiques, some dating back as many as 1500 years. we also specialise in antique reproduction and restoration. For the past 30 years, we have travelled around Asia and Europe, collecting and restoring genuine antiques. Our showcase includes restored tables from Mongolia, Bodisattvas (buddist in training), unique tibetan pieces and vases dating back to the Ming dynasty. Our showroom pulsates with the energy of eras gone by, come and expereince the prescence of some of our pieces.

5. Direct import from Asia
We personally collect each piece from private collectors and auctions. We import directly to Taupo, cutting out the middleman, allowing you to experience our collection at a reasonable price. We wish to keep our prices as low as possible to make it easier for your collecting interests.
